Organization Profile

The UW Alumni Club of Rockford is a nonprofit corporation serving UW-Madison graduates who live in Northern Illinois. We have identified ourselves as the UW Alumni Club of Rockford because the majority of our members live in or around the city of Rockford. The Rockford club is one of many alumni organizations associated with the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA).

The primary charter of the Rockford club is to grant scholarships to local high school seniors planning to attend UW-Madison. In addition to granting scholarships, we offer a number of member services to maintain and build the social network within our club. Some of these activities include Badger bus trips, Young Alumni events, Founders' Day Dinner, and the Big 10 Dinner.
