OTW Fundraising for UW Scholarships, Aug 30-Sept 3, 2007
The Alumni Club beer tent will return to On The Waterfront for another year of fundraising. This year’s volunteers will receive a complimentary OTW button (good for admission on any day) and a free membership to our club. To receive these benefits we ask that you sign up by August 21st. Football Bus Trip, October 20, 2007
Can the Badgers improve on a 12-1 season where they finished ranked #5 in the nation? Fans are excited to find out. On July 11, the UW Athletic department announced that all 2007 home football games are sold out! The good news for you is that the Alumni Club still has 50 tickets available for the October 20th game at Camp Randall versus Northern Illinois. Ticket price includes bus transportation, brunch (breakfast pizza & coffee), tailgate food (subs), and alcohol. This bus trip is always a club favorite and we expect more fun this year as the Badgers take a run at the national championship. The bus will depart from Scoreboard. Varsity Band Concert, April 2008
This past spring was the third consecutive year the club organized group seating for members. We had front row seats in the first level (100 level) - awesome seats! If you’d like to be contacted about the 2008 concert please send an email to postmaster@RockfordAreaBaders.org. January is when we will do our event planning and ticket purchases for the April concert so please send your e-mail ASAP – no later than early January.
