On The Waterfront, August 29 - Aug 31, 2008

The Alumni Club beer tent will return to OTW for another year of fundraising. This year’s volunteers will receive a complimentary OTW tickets (good for admission Friday through Sunday) and a free membership to our club. To receive these benefits we ask that you sign up by August 18th.

 Please welcome back Sara Dexter as our OTW director. Sara has been busy coordinating event details, and is now looking for volunteers to pour beer and take tickets.  Shift Captains for this year will be  Nicole Baxter  (Friday),  Sara Dexter (Saturday), and Bob Madden (Sunday). We are looking to mentor some Junior Captains this year so please let Sara know if this is something you may be interested in.

Volunteers will pour beer from the tap, open beer bottles, and/or collect tickets from thirsty customers. In addition to these tasks, the shift captains are responsible for training new volunteers, coordinating delivery of new supplies, monitoring efficiency and service quality, etc. Manning this event is a huge undertaking so your support is appreciated.  We do ask however, that any person in the tent be at least 21 years of age (OTW requirement).

Proceeds from our efforts will once again go toward funding UW scholarships for area students. This is by far our largest fund raiser of the year.
